We recently received a call from an out of town owner that they needed to find a home for her two horses. She lived and worked out of town and her family was supposed to be taking care of them. Although our winter was mild, there was just not enough pasture to sustain them.
Even though we were full, we just could not turn our back on these local horses. These girls have stretched our limits and our resources but they are already looking better. We have had their teeth floated, coggins pulled and they are on several meals per day plus all the hay that they can eat.
