Brodnax, VA, September 24, 2015 – Central Virginia Horse Rescue in partnership with the ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®) along with Southside Equine Services is offering a Gelding Clinic. The clinic will be held at Central Virginia Horse Rescue’s Brodnax location on Wednesday October 21 2015.
Up to ten stallions will be gelded, free of charge, on the clinic date and an additional ten vouchers for reduced cost geldings will be provided to stallion owners who cannot transport their horse to the clinic.
“We are very excited to be able to offer this service to the community.” Said Cynthia Smith, founder of Central Virginia Horse Rescue. “We hope that this clinic will help to keep some of these horses in their homes and that owners in the area will take advantage of this opportunity which is funded by a grant from the ASPCA.”
All participating stallions must be halter broke, in good health and be at least four months of age. To qualify for all services, horses must be scheduled for castration.
