Final Script

Final Script is an OTTB who was rescued from the track 2 years ago.  He has a tiny floating chip in one knee but retired sound from the track.  He raced until he was 7 yrs old and set a track record at Colonial Downs in Virginia.  You can view his pedigree here Script had 51 starts and earned $113,200 at the track.  He raced until he was 7.

Final Script

Script is a lovely gelding with a great personality.  Always the first to greet you in the pasture and will follow you around like a puppy.  He has been lightly ridden here at the rescue and is very sane and sensible.  He just needs a job and someone of his own to love.

We took Script to the Taste of Brunswick Festival.  This is a picture from his first non-racing appearance with other horses.  After his initial excitement with all the horses and riders, he did very well even with the cannons firing.

We have had Script’s knee xrayed and the chip is still there and there are some arthritic changes to his knee but the vet says that she has seen show horses that are currently competing with worse.  We believe that with joint supplements and a slow beginning, he would be sound for almost any discipline.

Script’s adoption fee is $250.  He is also available on our foster to adopt agreement where the adoption fee would be waived for 6 months to make sure that he is suitable.
