Iggy – Retired School Horse
September 9, 2011 No CommentsIggy came to Camelot by way of a well know riding school and stable. Iggy has apparently had soundness issues for the last year or so and was sent to auction rather than finding him a retirement home.
Iggy is 12 yrs old and a gorgeous bay roan.

Iggy is currently in quarantine in NC. He will be coming to the rescue around the end of September and we will have more information on him then.
10/10/11 Update: Iggy has arrived at the rescue and will be undergoing evaluation by farrier and vet in the next month. Because his soundness issues have been ongoing for an extended period of time, we do not expect him to be available for adoption soon.
Iggy is a water horse. He loves the pond!
We are asking for some help sponsoring Iggy. We would like to start him on supplements right away as well as having corrective farrier care and possibly x-rays to determine what the issue is. We are setting up groups for the sponsors and Iggy will have his own. Sponsors will have access to Iggy’s vet bills and will be kept up to date on his progress. The group will have additional pictures of Iggy and have advanced notice of his adoption status.
