Southern Belle

This Southern Belle used to be on a hack line giving rides through the mountains of Tennessee.  When she got to old or maybe too slow, they took her to an auction.  She probably traveled east going from one auction to another auction until she reached Camelot in NJ.  She was purchased for Camelot but is very unhappy in her new home so they wanted to find her a place with someone who understood mules.

We are working to pay for her trip to Virginia.  She currently resides in Pennsylvania.  It is going to cost approximately $300 to get her to the rescue and then we believe that she needs her teeth floated which will be another $100 or so.  If you can help get Belle to the rescue, we would greatly appreciate it.   She deserves a chance to spend her senior years in peace.

You can use the paypal button to donate or you can mail a check to CVHR, 389 Boydton Plank Rd, Brodnax, VA 23920.
Thank you!

Sponsor Belle

Our horse sponsorships support our horses.  They help to pay for feed, farrier, vet bills as well as any other incidental costs that the horse may incur.   It costs Central Virginia Horse Rescue approximately $100 per month per horse.  If horses have health issues, then those costs go up.  By sponsoring a horse you are making a commitment for 12 months to help care for them.  You can cancel the payments at any time.  If the sponsored horse is adopted, your sponsorship will continue for another horse,  however, you always have the option to cancel.
