Felicity has been ADOPTED!!
It was a Friday morning when I got the email about a TWH filly that was in danger of going to auction. Like many emails, it had been forwarded from person to person until it finally found it’s way here. There was a Tennessee Walking Horse mare and filly in Virginia that were going to go to an auction if someone couldn’t save them.
We did not find out in time to save the mother but thanks to Andora and her friends, we were able to bring the filly to the rescue. This little girl is very frightened and a little thin but seems like she is ready to make a fresh start in life.
This is a picture of her first morning at the rescue. She is still a little wary of her new surroundings and her new folks but she is talking up a storm to the other horses. She dove into her hay last night like it was her last meal and was quite willing to eat her grain this morning.
She will be available for adoption once she is out of her 30 days of isolation. We are currently accepting application for her.
She is looking for caring folks to sponsor her during her time here. Our sponsors help to provide quality feed and care during their stay at the rescue. You can sponsor her for as little as $10 per month.
