There is just something about donkeys

There is just something about donkeys that warms the heart.  Everyone that has come to the rescue has been sweet and gentle.  They can be opinionated but they make people smile.   Donkeys just seem to bring out the laughter in everyone.

Maria and Francisco came to us from Camelot.  They were in the feedlot until late on Friday when CVHR made the decision to pull them.  They had so much public support that we raised enough to not only bring them to the rescue but also to bring one of their friends.

Sterling

Sterling is a 4 yr old spotted jack.  He is the sweetest thing.  He greets me every morning when I go to the barn with a bray that scares the chickens out of the barn.  He takes treats from your hand with the most gentle lips that it is like a kiss.
